- Description: New alloy mooring shackle offering a wide mouth opening
- Material: High Tensile Steel, Quenched and Tempered
- Finish: All parts hot dip galvanized, red painted bolts on top

Primarily designed for the Aquaculture industry, the wide throat opening and more than generous inside dimensions will allow for the passage of heavy duty hawser thimbles, in addition to the large synthetic rope thimbles normally used in the towing and mooring industry. In order to accomplish this with standard shackles, a much larger shackle must be used, thus creating a weight problem in handling for the workmen.
Tidal Mooring Shackles are manufactured with alloy steel and quenched tempered to provide our customers with safety and reliability they count on. Every shackle is manufactured and tested to meet ISO9001 standards ensuring the product to be void of hydrogen embrittlement.
