Engineered for strength, durability, and performance, our synthetic ropes are designed to meet the toughest demands across marine, industrial, and heavy-duty applications. Whether you need mooring, towing, or rigging solutions, we offer a range of synthetic ropes that provide the reliability and safety required for critical operations.
3-Strand Poly Rope
- Construction: Made of 3 strands of high-tenacity co-polymer rope twisted together, offering strength, durability, and flexibility.
- Key Features: Strong yet flexible, good abrasion resistance.
- Applications: Used in rigging, oil fields, fishing, marine environments (aquaculture, fish farming), and industrial applications.

8-Strand Mooring Rope
- Construction: Engineered with 8 strands of high-tenacity co-polymer fibers, the Tidal SuperTuf-Pro mooring rope delivers superior strength, stability, and durability compared to traditional 3-strand ropes.
- Key Features: Increased durability, better load distribution, higher tensile strength than 3-strand ropes.
- Tolerance: Up to 14mm =+/- 8%, 16mm & above =+/-5%
- Applications: Ideal for rigging, marine mooring, and industrial operations requiring exceptional strength and abrasion resistance.
- Colours: Aqua-green, yellow, and white/blue.
- Standard Length: 220 meters (custom coil lengths available upon request).
Polysteel 3-Strand Rope
- Construction: Made from filaments and manufactured to extremely tight tolerances, Polysteel offers the highest tenacity among polypropylene or polyethylene ropes, with a minimum of 7.5 grams per denier. This makes it the strongest synthetic rope in its class.
- Key Features: Known for its toughness and lightweight properties, floatable, excellent UV protection, superior abrasion resistance, no loss of strength when wet, resists rot and mildew, and stores wet. Approximately 40% more strength than polypropylene or polyethylene and 18% elongation at break.
- Applications: Commonly used in marine, fishing, and towing applications.
- Colours: Available in a variety of colours with custom lengths and markings.
12-Strand UHWMPE (HMPE)
- Construction: TIDALMAX is a 12-strand diamond braid rope made from UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) Dyneema fibers, one of the strongest and most trusted high-performance synthetic fibers available. It offers an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio while maintaining flexibility and durability.
- Key Features: Extremely strong yet lightweight, TIDALMAX is highly resistant to abrasion, chemicals, and UV degradation. It has low stretch properties.
- Applications: Designed for high-performance, heavy-duty use, TIDALMAX is commonly utilized in lifting, towing, marine operations, and offshore oil rigs.
Double Braid Nylon
- Construction: High-quality nylon fiber in two braided layers (an inner core and an outer braided sheath), providing strength, flexibility, and shock absorption.
- Key Features: High energy absorption, high strength, great elasticity, and good resistance to wear and UV degradation.
- Meets or Exceeds US Military Specifications # Mil-DTL—24050 E and Canadian Military Specifications 40-16-95 Type 1.
- Specific Gravity: 1.14
- Applications: Commonly used for mooring, anchoring, towing, and other applications that require controlling sudden shock loading.
- Colours: Standard White/Blue Tracer. Also available in Red, Blue, Black, Green, and Gold.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long should my mooring line be?
Ideally, the mooring line is 2 to 3 times the depth of the water at highest high water. This ratio of water depth to mooring line is called scope. A high scope allows for the least hydraulic force to be applied to the anchor block as the buoy is far away from the anchor. However, sometimes this is not practical as the length of the mooring line allows the buoy to move too far away from its anchor position. This movement is referred to as the watch circle. If the watch circle causes the buoy to move too far out of position or for it to hit shore or another floating object, it will need to be reduced. The lower the scope, the more wear on your mooring line and the larger your anchor block should be. Your mooring line must be able to be supported by the buoy selected
